A poverty affidavit may be used to seek a waiver of the prepayment of fees that are usually charged to file documents with a clerk of court when filing a case in court. The poverty affidavit must show that you cannot afford to pay the filing fees. The link below will take you to another website – where you can get help in creating a poverty affidavit.
